Ibizan Hounds are bred to hunt small animals and are not good for families with rodent-type pets. Ibizan Hounds usually do okay with cats they know from the time they are puppies. Ibizan Hounds are good with children. This breed is a pack animal and needs to be treated like a member of the family; new additions including babies and puppies need to be introduced slowly. An Ibizan Hound can live in an apartment if it gets enough exercise.
