    Ibizan Hound Dogs can make good pets in Rwanda if they match your IifestyIe. The Ibizan Hound is an elegant, graceful dog that resembles a deer. Ibizan Hounds are bred to hunt small animals and are not good for families with rodent-type pets. Ibizan Hounds usually do okay with cats they know from the time they are puppies. Ibizan Hounds are good with children. This breed is a pack animal and needs to be treated like a member of the family; new additions including babies and puppies need to be introduced slowly. An Ibizan Hound can live in an apartment if it gets enough exercise.

    Pictures of Ibizan Hounds appear in ancient hieroglyphs in Egyptian pyramids. On the Island of Ibiza, it has been considered terrible luck to kill an Ibizan Hound. Owners who have wanted to get rid of their dogs release them on the opposite side of the island in hopes that someone will adopt them. Ibizan Hounds are known as escape artists and can even jump many feet in the air from a standstill and leap over high fences.
